McDonald III of the 26th, and others
A RESOLUTION
Honoring the life and legacy of Trooper Chase Winston Redner; and for other purposes.1
WHEREAS, Trooper Chase Winston Redner was highly respected by t he citizens of his2
community, the State of Georgia, and his fellow public servants , known for his integrity,3
dedication, and commitment to the principles of law enforcement; and4
WHEREAS, Trooper Redner was born on January 5, 1993, the belove d son of Linda5
Stancil-Redner and Richard Redner; and6
WHEREAS, he earned a bachelor's degree from the University of N orth Georgia and7
graduated from the 103rd Trooper School with the Georgia State Patrol; and8
WHEREAS, Trooper Redner was a valued member of the Specialized Crash Reconstruction9
Team, demonstrating devotion to duty, leadership, and meticulous attention to detail in his10
work; and11
WHEREAS, Trooper Redner tragically lost his life in the line of duty on February 20, 2024;12

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that this distinguished Georg ian be recognized and14
honored for his service and sacrifice.15
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that16
the members of this body honor the life and legacy of Trooper Chase Winston Redner.17
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized18
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the19
family of Trooper Chase Winston Redner.20
