A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Logan Otteson on winning the 2024 Gymnastics State Championship in balance beam; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Logan Otteson of North Forsyth High School earned the top title in the state with her balance beam win in the 2024 Gymnastics State Championship; and

WHEREAS, this stellar young woman epitomizes the courage, determination, leadership, and character necessary to attain excellence in athletic prowess and performance; and

WHEREAS, her months of training been rewarded with an impressive win, and it is appropriate that she holds the title of champion; and

WHEREAS, Logan's victory was the culmination of a season of hard work, dedication, and excellent sportsmanship; and

WHEREAS, her superior skill, strategy, stamina, and control have earned her the respect and admiration of her teammates and challengers; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the superlative abilities of this accomplished and gifted student-athlete, as well as the pride, honor, and respect she has brought to herself, her school, and her community, be appropriately recognized.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Logan Otteson on winning the 2024 Gymnastics State Championship and extend best wishes for success in the future. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Logan Otteson.
