By: Representatives Martin of the 49th, Jones of the 47th, Hilton of the 48th, Silcox of the 53rd,
and Jones of the 25th
A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce; and for
other purposes.
WHEREAS, North Fulton is a diverse and thriving region boasting six unique cities; nearly
400,000 residents; six Fortune 500 companies; a highly educated workforce and talent base;
top-tier public and private educational institutions; world-class healthcare; nationally
acclaimed outdoor parkland, trails, and green space; a vibrant arts, culture, and entertainment
scene; and a quality of life that is second to none; and
WHEREAS, for over five decades, the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce has
served as a catalyst for the region's growth, connectivity, innovation, transformation, and
economic vitality by serving as the voice and champion of business in North Fulton; and
WHEREAS, the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce is a 5-Star Accredited
Chamber, and as the only regional chamber in North Fulton comprising six distinct cities, it
is uniquely positioned to bring industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and experts from surrounding
communities together, fostering innovation and collaboration; and
WHEREAS, the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce's over five decades of success
began in 1973 with a small group of local business leaders who, 20 years before GA-400 was
built, envisioned the potential for the region and invested in their community to ensure its
growth and prosperity; and
WHEREAS, the mission of the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce is to grow
business, develop talent, and lead regional prosperity across North Fulton; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the Greater North Fulton Chamber of
Commerce receive the recognition of this body.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize and commend the Greater North Fulton Chamber of
Commerce and extend best wishes for continued success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the
Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce.
