and Momtahan of the 17th
A RESOLUTION
Honoring Lydia Hallmark; and for other purposes.1
WHEREAS, Lydia Hallmark has long been recognized by the citizen s of this state for the2
vital role that she has played in leadership and her deep personal commitment to the welfare3
of the citizens of Georgia; and4
WHEREAS, Mrs. Hallmark is a member of the Floyd County, Paulding County, and Cobb5
County Republican Women, as well as the Paulding County Republican Party and the Cobb6
County Republican Party; and 7
WHEREAS, she served the Paulding County GOP as assistant treasu rer, chair of the8
nominating committee, and corresponding secretary; and 9
WHEREAS, in 2008, she co-founded the Paulding County Republican Women’s Club where10
she has held numerous positions; and11
WHEREAS, currently, she holds the title of President of the Pau lding County Republican12
Women's Club; and13

WHEREAS, Mrs. Hallmark's exemplary service with the Georgia Federation of Republican14
women has earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and associates; and 15
WHEREAS, in 2016, she was elected as delegate to the Republican National Convention to16
represent the 14th District; and 17
WHEREAS, in 2019, Mrs. Hallmark served as 14th District Chair for “Women for Trump,"18
and further supported the president as a Trump 47 Captain, in 2024; and 19
WHEREAS, she is the proud Recipient of the only two awards given by the Paulding County20
Republican Party, the 2011 Grassroots Volunteer of the year award and the 2015 Betty Finch,21
Lifetime Achievement Award; and 22
WHEREAS, she received the Republican of the Year award at District Convention 2021 and23
the Heritage Action We the People Award, in Orlando, in November 2021, for her work on24
the Georgia Election Integrity Bill; and25
WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for26
integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and27
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this28
remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.29
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that30
the members of this body recognize and commend Lydia Hallmark f or her efficient,31
effective, unselfish, and dedicated public service to the State of Georgia and extend the most32
sincere best wishes for continued health and happiness.33

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized34
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Lydia35
Hallmark.36
