A RESOLUTION
Honoring the life, work, and contributions of Patrick Muhammad; and for other purposes.1
WHEREAS, Patrick Muhammad, known as the Principal Farmer, is a pioneering leader in2
Atlanta's homesteading and agricultural education, dedicating over a decade to transforming3
his 31-acre Your Faith Farms into a thriving hub for sustainabl e living and agricultural4
learning; and5
WHEREAS, through his dedication and expertise, he has empowered over 30 families to6
purchase and develop their own farms, fostering a new generatio n of landowners and7
sustainable farmers; and8
WHEREAS, as the Principal of Chattahoochee Hills Charter School, an agriculture-focused9
institution, he inspires young students through hands-on agricu ltural lessons, instilling in10
them the values of sustainability, self-sufficiency, and environmental stewardship; and11
WHEREAS, his impact extends beyond the classroom as his educati onal videos on12
sustainable farming and homesteading have gone viral, reaching millions of viewers and13
sparking widespread enthusiasm for agricultural education; and14

WHEREAS, his contributions to the field of agriculture and education have been recognized15
with an Emmy nomination, and his work has been featured on prominent platforms such as16
Netflix's Chicken Soup for the Soul, FOX's Home Free, and a John Deere campaign; and17
WHEREAS, Patrick Muhammad is also a published author, and his forthcoming third book,18
Farming by Faith , is set to further inspire and educate individuals on the prin ciples of19
farming, faith, and self-reliance; and20
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding achievements and lasting21
contributions of Patrick Muhammad be appropriately recognized and celebrated.22
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that23
the members of this body honor Patrick Muhammad for his exempla ry leadership, his24
commitment to agricultural education, and his dedication to empowering families through25
farming and homesteading.26
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized27
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to28
Patrick Muhammad.29
