A RESOLUTION
Commending John "JT" Marshburn on his election as Secretary of the College Republican1
National Committee; and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, John "JT" Marshburn, a native of Athens, Georgia, and a student at Georgia3
College and State University, has been elected to serve as Secr etary of the College4
Republican National Committee (CRNC), a distinguished national organization dedicated5
to engaging young conservatives and fostering leadership among college students across the6
country; and7
WHEREAS, the CRNC, founded in 1892, is the oldest conservative youth organization in8
the United States and serves as the official collegiate youth arm of the Republican National9
Committee (RNC), playing a crucial role in shaping the future of the conservative movement;10
and11
WHEREAS, John Marshburn has demonstrated exemplary leadership, dedication, and12
commitment to the values and mission of the CRNC, working dilig ently to advance13
conservative principles and empower the next generation of leaders; and14

WHEREAS, his election is a testament to his outstanding service, integrity, and unwavering15
dedication to the Republican movement, and he has earned the respect and admiration of his16
colleagues and peers through his hard work and commitment to excellence; and17
WHEREAS, in this esteemed role, John Marshburn will be responsi ble for ensuring the18
effective administration and communication of the CRNC, playing a vital role in the19
organization's success and continued growth, while also proudly representing the state of20
Georgia on the national stage; and21
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding achievements and service22
of this remarkable young leader be appropriately recognized and commended.23
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that24
the members of this body commend John "JT" Marshburn on his election as Secretary of the25
College Republican National Committee and extend their best wis hes for his continued26
success in this important leadership role.27
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized28
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to John29
"JT" Marshburn.30
