Whine Walk Run 5K and International Food Festival; commend ## Text 25 LC 129 0468 House Resolution 917 By: Representatives Beckles of the 96th, Evans of the 57th, Adeyina of the 110th, McClain of the 109th, Clark of the 108th, and others A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending the Whine Walk Run 5K and International Food Festival; and1 for other purposes.2 WHEREAS, the Whine Walk Run 5K and International Food Festival (WWR5K) is a3 Carribean Cultural 5k hosted in Piedmont Park, in Atlanta, on May 3, 2025; and4 WHEREAS, WWR5K promotes health by partnering with the Board of Health and other5 health organizations; and6 WHEREAS, the event shares Caribbean culture through a display o f art and talent from7 various islands; and8 WHEREAS, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to community organization Jam9 Across Georgia, an organization dedicated to women's mental hea lth, as well as another10 non-profit organization selected through raffle at the event; and11 WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this extraordinary event be appropriately12 recognized.13 H.
