55th, and Schofield of the 63rd
A RESOLUTION
Commending Creekside High School's Career and Technical Student Organizations and
recognizing February 5, 2025, as Career and Technical Student Organizations Day at the
state capitol; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) in Georgia are an integral
part of and an intra-curricular component for career, technical, and agricultural education
programs, which are designed to support instructional objectives and the attainment of
academic and technical competencies; and
WHEREAS, in response to the emerging tech workforce, CTSOs have expanded to include
both technology and communication, equipping future generations for successful careers; and
WHEREAS, CTSOs engage businesses and industries at the national, state, and local levels,
ensuring that educators and students alike know that businesses care about their future and
that their educational experiences are aligned for application in the workforce; and
WHEREAS, CTSOs offer students opportunities to participate in a variety of activities
including conferences, award programs, service projects, and competitive events; and
WHEREAS, CTSOs are an invaluable resource for Creekside High School's students that
play a pivotal role in preparing them for success and fulfillment in their future careers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body commend Creekside High School's Career and Technical Student
Organizations and recognize February 5, 2025, as Career and Technical Student
Organizations Day at the state capitol.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to the
public and the press.
