A RESOLUTION
Commending President Donald Trump and Elon Musk on the creation of the Department of
Government Efficiency; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, the United States of America has long been a beacon of innovation, leadership,
and progress, striving to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of its government to better
serve its citizens; and
WHEREAS, the creation of the Department of Government Efficiency represents a
forward-thinking approach to streamlining federal operations, reducing waste, and increasing
productivity across governmental departments and agencies; and
WHEREAS, President Donald Trump, in his commitment to improving government
operations and reducing bureaucratic inefficiencies, demonstrated unwavering leadership in
initiating efforts aimed at re-imagining how the government functions and serves the
American people; and
WHEREAS, Elon Musk, a renowned entrepreneur and visionary with vast experience in
innovation, technology, and management, brought invaluable expertise to the endeavor,
contributing insights on cutting-edge technologies and data-driven solutions that are
transforming industries across the world; and
WHEREAS, the creation of this department marks a significant step forward in modernizing
the federal government and ensuring that taxpayer dollars are used as effectively as possible,
addressing longstanding inefficiencies while enhancing transparency and accountability; and
WHEREAS, the collaboration between President Trump and Elon Musk exemplifies the

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body commend President Donald Trump and Elon Musk for their vision,
leadership, and dedication to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the federal
government through the creation of the Department of Government Efficiency.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the members of this body express their support for
continued efforts to streamline government functions, eliminate unnecessary bureaucracy,
and leverage technological advancements to better serve the American public.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the members of this body encourage further
collaboration between the public and private sectors in the pursuit of a more efficient and
responsive government that meets the evolving needs of all citizens.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to the
public and the press.
