A RESOLUTION
Recognizing May 2025 as Foster Parent Appreciation Month; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, foster parents in our community provide safe, loving, and nurturing homes for children in need, offering them a second chance at a brighter future; and
WHEREAS, the selfless dedication and unwavering commitment of foster parents make a profound difference in the lives of children, providing them with stability, support, and the opportunity to thrive; and
WHEREAS, foster parents often face significant challenges and demands, yet they continue to open their hearts and homes to children in need, demonstrating remarkable compassion and resilience; and
WHEREAS, we recognize the importance of supporting foster families and ensuring that they have the resources and assistance they need to succeed in their crucial role.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize May 2025 as Foster Parent Appreciation Month and express their sincere gratitude and appreciation for the invaluable contributions made by foster parents.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to the public and the press.
