A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Dr. Darlene Williams-Roberts; and for other purposes.1
WHEREAS, Dr. Darlene Williams-Roberts has long stood as a beacon of excellence in the2
fields of fitness advocacy, entrepreneurship, and civic leadership, and she has made a lasting3
impact on her community through her visionary service and dedication; and4
WHEREAS, based in Byron, Georgia, Dr. Williams-Roberts is the founder of SpaTique, an5
exclusive health center that provides bespoke body contouring and beauty treatments, which6
has become a premier destination for holistic wellness and rejuvenation; and7
WHEREAS, following the passing of her beloved husband, who was deeply passionate about8
cultivating Muscadines, Dr. Williams-Roberts honored his legacy by establishing and9
growing Roberts Vineyard, which now stands as the only USDA GAP-certified vineyard in10
Georgia under Black female ownership; and11
WHEREAS, Roberts Vineyard also includes a licensed winery where Dr. Williams-Roberts12
blends, bottles, and sells her own wines, hosting exclusive tastings and setting a benchmark13
for excellence in sustainable viticulture and agribusiness; and14

WHEREAS, Dr. Williams-Roberts further serves as Vice Chair of t he Economic15
Development Board of Crawford County and is an active member of the Crawford County16
Chamber Board, where she plays an essential role in fostering e conomic growth and17
supporting local business initiatives; and18
WHEREAS, her advocacy for women in agriculture is additionally reflected by her19
involvement with the Women AG Leadership Foundation Inc., where she continues to20
empower future generations of female agricultural leaders; and21
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this remarkab le individual be22
appropriately honored during this special time.23
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that24
the members of this body recognize and commend Dr. Darlene Will iams-Roberts for her25
many outstanding achievements and contributions on behalf of her fellow citizens as well as26
extend best wishes for continued success.27
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized28
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Dr.29
Darlene Williams-Roberts.30
