House Resolution 991
By: Representatives Powell of the 33rd, Dempsey of the 13th, Washburn of the 144th, Crowe
of the 118th, and Donatucci of the 105th
A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Craig Coffee; and for other purposes.1
WHEREAS, Craig Coffee has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the vital2
role that he has played in leadership and his deep personal commitment to the welfare of the3
citizens of Georgia; and4
WHEREAS, he has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of his time,5
talents, and energy toward the betterment of his community and state as evidenced6
dramatically by his superlative service as the Executive Director of the Georgia Real Estate7
Board; and8
WHEREAS, after being admitted to the Georgia State Bar in 1986, Craig earned his real9
estate license and embarked on a long and fulfilling career; and10
WHEREAS, in addition to his service with the Georgia Real Estate Board, Craig served as11
Deputy Real Estate Commissioner with the Georgia Real Estate Commission for 18 years;12

WHEREAS, in 2016, he was elected President of the Association of Real Estate License Law14
Officials, a premier international organization with a mission that supports jurisdictions in15
the administration and enforcement of real estate license laws; and 16
WHEREAS, as a testament to his dedication and exemplary service , he was awarded the17
2023 ARELLO President's Service Award; and18
WHEREAS, Craig's significant organizational and leadership talents, remarkable patience19
and diplomacy, keen sense of vision, and sensitivity to the needs of the citizens of this state20
have earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and associates; and21
WHEREAS, he is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for22
integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and23
WHEREAS, he has served the State of Georgia with honor and dist inction, and his vision24
and unyielding commitment to protecting the public interest in real estate licensure have set25
the standard for public service; and26
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this27
remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.28
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that29
the members of this body recognize and commend Craig Coffee for his efficient, effective,30
unselfish, and dedicated public service to the State of Georgia and extend the most sincere31
best wishes for continued health and happiness.32

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized33
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Craig34
Coffee.35
