Amend the Senate Committee on State and Local Governmental Operations - General
substitute to SB 301 (LC 28 0736S) by replacing line 5 with the following:
provide for severability; to provide for definitions; to provide for related matters; to repeal
conflicting laws; and for
By inserting between lines 26 and 27 the following:
<ins>Such term shall not include the depiction of any individual who participated in,
facilitated, helped to facilitate, coordinated with, or otherwise helped perpetuate the
Ku Klux Klan or any other domestic terrorist organization devoted in whole or in part
to the principle of defending racial purity, upholding segregation, or any other
motivating purpose of maintaining and perpetuating unequal treatment under the law
based on race.
