# Sen Floor Amend 1 AM 49 0256 to SB 68

LOST
Senators Parent of the 44th and Jones II of the 22nd offered the following amendment #1:
Amend the House substitute to SB 68 (LC 49 2362S) by replacing <ins>"substantially similar
wrongful conduct"</ins> with <ins>"similar wrongful conduct"</ins> on lines 199, 229, 231, 234, and 238.
By deleting <ins>"physical"</ins> on lines 206, 242, 247, 261, and 266.
By deleting <ins>"substantially"</ins> on lines 207, 244, and 263.
By inserting after line 281 the following:
<ins>(d) Nothing in this article shall be construed to limit or otherwise affect any claim, remedy,
or cause of action where the wrongful conduct is related to a violation of any of the sexual
offenses set forth in Chapter 6 of Title 16, or any claim, remedy, or cause of action where
the wrongful conduct injures a person, who at the time of the injury was less than 18 years
old or was 65 years old or older.
