A RESOLUTION

Congratulating the 2025 Everyday Energy Heroes; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, the Natural Gas Association of Georgia began the Everyday Energy Heroes Campaign in 2025 to spotlight the members of the natural gas industry who make it possible for the people and businesses to enjoy the benefits of natural gas safely and reliably; and

WHEREAS, founded in 2015, the Natural Gas Association of Georgia is composed of more than 50 companies and municipalities that provide natural gas services to the residents of Georgia; and

WHEREAS, over 2 million homes and businesses in Georgia are connected to a natural gas service that provides energy for heating, cooking, hot water, drying, and other uses; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the following individuals be appropriately honored for their many outstanding contributions: Lonnie Robinson, City of Commerce; Robert Gordon, DeKalb County; Alex Philmon, City of Sugar Hill; Everett Rhodes, City of Waynesboro; Danny Hughes, City of Claxton; Tabitha Shephard, Southstar Energy Services; and David Martin, Mansfield Power and Gas.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body congratulate the 2025 Everyday Energy Heroes and extend best wishes for continued success.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to the 2025 Everyday Energy Heroes.
