A RESOLUTION
Commending Dr. Terry L. Hudson II; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Dr. Terry L. Hudson II is a distinguished resident of the State of Georgia whose
unwavering commitment to national security and public service has made a profound impact
both within and beyond the military community; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Hudson honorably served his country in the United States Army as a 35F
Intelligence Analyst from 2012 to 2016, demonstrating exceptional dedication,
professionalism, and integrity in the defense of the nation; and
WHEREAS, following his military service, Dr. Hudson continued to support critical national
security missions through both industry and federal service, contributing his expertise to key
operations and organizations, including Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent
Resolve (CJTF-OIR), United States Army Central (ARCENT), United States Army
Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), and other vital mission partners; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Hudson has further distinguished himself through his work in security roles
supporting the Maneuver Center of Excellence, including the Officer Candidate School
program and specialized security responsibilities essential to the readiness and safety of
military personnel; and
WHEREAS, he currently serves with distinction as the sole Garrison Security Manager at
Fort Benning, Georgia, where he provides critical security oversight and support to
directorates and tenant units, ensuring the safety and protection of civilians, military
personnel, and contractors across the installation; and
WHEREAS, in addition to his exemplary professional service, Dr. Hudson has demonstrated
an extraordinary commitment to academic excellence, earning a Bachelor of Science in
Business Administration, a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Psychology, a Master of Science
in Forensic Sciences, and a Doctor of Forensic Sciences; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Hudson's achievements reflect a steadfast dedication to lifelong learning,
leadership, and service, making him a model citizen and an inspiration to all Georgians.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body
commend Dr. Terry L. Hudson II for his outstanding service to the State of Georgia and the
United States and extend their sincerest appreciation for his continued contributions to
national security and public safety.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Dr. Terry L.
Hudson II.
