## Summaries written by Georgia Commons

The following was written by claude-sonnet-5 from the text above and is not part of the resolution. Quote the text, not the summary.

A Senate resolution honors Linda J. Davidson, the retiring executive director of the Alzheimer's Association's Georgia Chapter, for her years of service and leadership.

### Plain-language summary

This is a ceremonial resolution passed by the Georgia Senate. It does not change any law. Instead, it formally recognizes Linda J. Davidson, who has served since June 2017 as executive director of the Georgia Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, for her leadership and contributions as she retires.
The resolution recounts her career, including earlier work with United Way, Catholic Social Services, and the American Cancer Association, and credits her with helping expand services for the more than 150,000 Georgia residents living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. It directs the Secretary of the Senate to provide her with an official copy of the resolution as a keepsake.
