WHEREAS, on January 28, 2025, Emergency Manager Marc Vincent received a Public Safety Commendation from the Georgia World Congress Center Authority's (GWCCA) Department of Public Safety; and WHEREAS, this accolade reflects his exceptional leadership during the recent emergency responses to severe winter weather that coincided with major events on the GWCCA campus; and WHEREAS, his ability to coordinate resources and make timely critical decisions ensured the safety and well-being of GWCCA's employees and campus attendees; and WHEREAS, his professionalism, quick thinking, and commitment to excellence have truly made a profound impact on GWCCA's campus; and WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately honored.
