Senators Merritt of the 9th and Jones II of the 22nd offered the following amendment #1:
Amend SR 246 (LC 112 3035):
by inserting after line 34 the following:
“Whereas, millions of senior citizens voted for Donald Trump, President Trump must prevent
those seniors from falling into poverty by protecting Social Security and Medicare from
devastating DOGE Commission cuts.”
