A RESOLUTION
Commending Coach Jeremy Moore; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Coach Jeremy Moore has long been recognized by his peers, colleagues, and
athletes as a remarkable leader and an integral part of Toombs County High School's athletic
success; and
WHEREAS, his exceptional guidance led the Toombs County boys soccer team to its first
ever state championship title in the 2023 season; and
WHEREAS, Coach Moore dedicates countless hours to ensuring the successful futures of
his athletes, and his unwavering commitment to his students makes him an outstanding role
model both on and off the field; and
WHEREAS, through his leadership, Coach Moore has fostered an environment of
excellence, teamwork, and dedication that has contributed to both the personal and athletic
growth of the young men on his team; and
WHEREAS, he has received numerous honors for his coaching excellence, including being
named the 2023 Georgia Athletic Coaches Association Division 2A Coach of the Year; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this outstanding individual be
appropriately honored.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body
commend Coach Jeremy Moore for his dedicated and selfless service to the youth of Toombs
County and extend their most sincere best wishes for continued health and happiness.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Coach Jeremy
Moore.
