By: Senator Islam Parkes of the 7th
A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Rahim Shah Akhunkhail; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Rahim Shah Akhunkhail is a distinguished philanthropist, entrepreneur, activist,
and community leader whose dedication to humanitarian efforts has had an immense global
impact; and
WHEREAS, as the founder of several impactful organizations, he has worked tirelessly to
empower marginalized communities, foster cross-cultural understanding, and promote
economic and social development; and
WHEREAS, his philanthropic work spans multiple countries, including the United States,
Pakistan, Morocco, Somalia, and Guatemala, and he has served as both a steadfast advocate
for the voiceless and a driving force behind meaningful social change; and
WHEREAS, during his distinguished 19 year-long tenure in corporate America, primarily
in management consulting, he worked with Fortune 100 companies such as IBM, AT&T,
Cisco, Citi Bank, HP, and Verizon; and
WHEREAS, he played a pivotal role in establishing customer management consulting
practices for two prominent firms before transitioning to entrepreneurship, and he now owns
and operates several successful ventures in the hospitality industry in the United States; and
WHEREAS, he has received prestigious accolades such as the JD Power & Associates
Award and recognition as a Top 100 CIO Master of Customer Satisfaction for three
companies; and
WHEREAS, Rahim Shah Akhunkhail is a person of magnanimous strengths with an
unimpeachable reputation for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this
remarkable and distinguished individual be appropriately recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body
recognize and commend Rahim Shah Akhunkhail for his many exemplary career
accomplishments and contributions on behalf of others as well as extend the most sincere
best wishes for continued health and happiness.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Rahim Shah
Akhunkhail.
