WHEREAS, since 1960, Teenage Republicans have been working to educate, empower, and connect youth to conservative politics, fostering a spirit of civic engagement and leadership among young people; and WHEREAS, the Georgia Teen Republicans are an active and dedicated group of young conservatives in Georgia working to engage peers in the political process, advocate for conservative values, and support Republican candidates at all levels of government in the State of Georgia; and WHEREAS, the mission of the Georgia Teen Republicans is to inspire the next generation of leaders by encouraging youth involvement in politics, supporting the principles of individual liberty, limited government, and free markets, and working to elect Republicans who uphold these values; and WHEREAS, the Georgia Teen Republicans contribute to the future of the state by educating peers on the importance of voting, public service, and standing up for conservative values in their communities and schools. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body recognize and commend the Georgia Teen Republicans for their efforts in promoting political engagement, fostering leadership, empowering the next generation of conservatives in Georgia, and working to elect Republican leaders who will serve the best interests of the state.
