A Georgia Senate resolution congratulates the Brookwood High School girls swimming and diving team for winning the 2023-2024 GHSA Class 7A State Swimming and Diving Championship.

### Plain-language summary

This is a ceremonial resolution from the Georgia Senate, not a change to state law. It recognizes the Brookwood High School girls swimming and diving team for winning the 2023-2024 GHSA (Georgia High School Association) Class 7A State Swimming and Diving Championship, scoring a combined 493.5 points.
The resolution credits the team's success to Head Coach Willie Hildebrand and notes state titles in the 100-yard backstroke, diving, and the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays. It directs the Secretary of the Senate to prepare a copy of the resolution for the team, but it creates no new rights, funding, or legal obligations.

- Extends the Senate's best wishes for the team's continued success, without creating any new law, funding, or requirement.

### Who it affects

The resolution directly names the Brookwood High School girls swimming and diving team and its head coach, Willie Hildebrand. It has no legal or financial effect on any other Georgians, agencies, or institutions.

### Why it matters

This resolution has no practical effect on Georgia law, funding, or policy. Its significance is symbolic: it gives the team and coach official recognition from the state Senate and provides them with a printed copy of the honor.

### Key provisions
