A RESOLUTION
Commending Techbridge Inc. on the occasion of its 25th anniversary and recognizing March 17, 2025, as Techbridge Day at the state capitol; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, since its founding in 2000, Techbridge Inc. has been a leader in nonprofit capacity building, providing cutting-edge technology solutions and strategic support to empower organizations in their missions to alleviate poverty and create pathways to self-sufficiency; and
WHEREAS, Techbridge Inc. has had a profound impact through its four core pillars: Hunger Relief, supporting food banks and pantries to distribute over 6.6 billion pounds of food; Social Justice, facilitating over $131 million in pro bono legal services to underserved communities; Workforce Development, creating economic opportunities and career pathways in the technology sector with a $9.6 million impact; and Homelessness, securing over $30 million in housing assistance for individuals and families in need; and
WHEREAS, Techbridge Inc. has fostered strategic partnerships with businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government entities to expand its reach and increase its impact, helping bridge the digital divide and ensuring equitable access to technology-driven solutions; and
WHEREAS, Techbridge's commitment to innovation has positioned it as a national model for leveraging technology to solve pressing social challenges, making a tangible difference in the lives of countless individuals and families; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper to honor Techbridge Inc. as well as its leadership, staff, and partners for their outstanding contributions over the past 25 years and their continued commitment to social impact and economic empowerment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend Techbridge Inc. upon the momentous occasion of its 25th anniversary, recognize March 17, 2025, as Techbridge Day at the state capitol, and extend sincere best wishes for continued success in the years to come.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Techbridge Inc.
