A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending QuikTrip for its incredible contributions to Hurricane Helene1
relief across Southeast Georgia; and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, the generous donations and efforts made by QuikTrip were vital in the recovery3
and restoration of the people and communities of State Senate D istrict 19 in the wake of4
Hurricane Helene; and5
WHEREAS, this corporation donated a total of $110,000 to the To ombs Strong Fund, the6
Weathered but Strong Fund, Manna House Ministries, Effingham Family Connection, and7
Screven Family Connection; and8
WHEREAS, an additional $45,000 worth of essential supplies was delivered to the impacted9
areas; and10
WHEREAS, these deliveries included water, drinks, food, flashlights, and other necessary11
items for the initial stages of community restoration; and12

WHEREAS, the efforts made by QuikTrip provided both immediate r elief and a lasting13
impact on the families who were most vulnerable after the devastation of Hurricane Helene;14
and15
WHEREAS, QuikTrip demonstrated its incredible support and commitment to the citizens16
of this state through the relief it provided.17
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body18
recognize and commend QuikTrip for its immense generosity and invaluable contributions19
to our state's recovery efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.20
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed21
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to QuikTrip.22
