Render, widely known as "Killer Mike," is a Grammy2 Award-winning artist, activist, and entrepreneur whose influenc e extends far beyond the3 realm of music; and4 WHEREAS, he has consistently used his platform to promote finan cial literacy, uplift5 underserved communities, and advocate for meaningful policy change throughout the State6 of Georgia and beyond; and7 WHEREAS, Killer Mike serves as co-founder of Greenwood, a Black-owned digital banking8 platform designed to address financial disparities and foster wealth-building opportunities9 in historically marginalized communities; and10 WHEREAS, beyond his economic advocacy, Killer Mike has further served as a powerful11 voice for criminal justice reform, police accountability, votin g rights, and prison reform,12 using public platforms and media appearances to advance these critical causes; and13 S.
