A RESOLUTION
Congratulating the Haralson County High School game day cheerleading team for winning1
the 2024-2025 Georgia High School Association Game Day State Championship for Region2
1A; and for other purposes.3
WHEREAS, the Haralson County High School game day cheerleading team has4
demonstrated exceptional skill, spirit, and dedication throughout the 2024-2025 season; and5
WHEREAS, competing in the Game Day division requires excellence in multiple elements,6
including cheer, band chant, and fight song, all of which the Haralson County cheerleaders7
performed with remarkable precision and school spirit; and8
WHEREAS, the dedication and leadership of the team's coaches, Bethany Pittman and Tunya9
Parker, has played a vital role in its success; and10
WHEREAS, this team included Maddi Milligan, Addi Brown, Kyly My ers, Braelyn11
Anderson, Jocy Parker, Ava O'Brien, Jenna Reed, Jada Johnson, K ennedy Dockery, Sadi12
Anderson, Evelyn Hardin, Heidi Ellis, Shyanne Streetman, Kayden Spradlin, Lola Williams,13

WHEREAS, the Haralson County High School game day cheerleading team has brought17
great pride and honor to its school, families, and community through the team's hard work18

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body 20
commend and congratulate the Haralson County High School Game day cheerleading team21
for winning the 2024-2025 Georgia High School Association Game Day State Championship22
and recognize its contributions to the spirit and excellence of high school athletics in23
Georgia.24
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed25
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for di stribution to the Haralson26
County High School game day cheerleading team.27
