31st, Robertson of the 29th and others
A RESOLUTION
Applauding Senator Brandon Beach for his exceptional service in the Georgia State Senate,1
his leadership in both public and private sectors, and congratu lating him on his recent2
appointment as United States Treasurer in the current Trump Administration; and for other3
purposes.4
WHEREAS, Senator Brandon Beach has served the people of Georgia with distinction for5
over two decades, having been elected to the Georgia State Sena te in 2003 and currently6
serving as a Senator representing the 21st District, which includes parts of North Fulton and7
East Cobb counties; and8
WHEREAS, Senator Beach has held several influential positions in the Senate, including his9
service as the Chairman of the Senate Transportation Committee, where he was instrumental10
in advancing transportation and infrastructure reforms critical to Georgia's economic growth11
and global competitiveness; and12
WHEREAS, in addition to his work in transportation, Senator Beach served as Chairman of13
the Senate Economic Development and Tourism Committee, where he focused on fostering14
a business-friendly environment in Georgia; his work in this area included attracting major15
investments in key industries such as technology, entertainment, and manufacturing; and16

WHEREAS, Senator Beach's service on various other committees, i ncluding the Senate17
Appropriations Committee, the Senate Rules Committee, and the Senate Ethics Committee,18
further reflects his influence and leadership in shaping policy decisions that affect all parts19
of Georgia's governance and economy; and20
WHEREAS, Senator Beach's background outside of the Senate has been equally impressive,21
with a successful career in business, during which he has owned and operated multiple22
companies. He serves as the Executive Director and founder of t he North Fulton23
Improvement District (NFCID) and has held key leadership roles, including serving on the24
boards of the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority (GRTA) and the Georgia25
Department of Transportation as well as Chair of the Public-Private Partnership Committee26
and the Land Development Committee; furthermore, he has served as Chairman of the Fulton27
County Development Authority; and28
WHEREAS, Senator Beach's integrity, approach to problem-solving , and commitment to29
public service have earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and constituents,30
as well as recognition as a strong leader in Georgia politics; and31
WHEREAS, Senator Beach's exemplary leadership and dedication to the people of Georgia32
were recognized on a national scale when he was appointed by President Donald J. Trump33
to serve as the United States Treasurer, a role in which he will carry significant responsibility34
for overseeing the nation's financial operations, managing the U.S. Mint and Fort Knox, and35
advising on matters of fiscal policy; and36
WHEREAS, as the first Georgian to serve in this capacity, Senator Beach will continue to37
demonstrate the same commitment to public service, financial stewardship, and integrity that38

defined his career in the Georgia State Senate, ensuring that federal fiscal policies serve the39
best interests of all Americans; and40
WHEREAS, this prestigious appointment stands as a testament to Senator Beach's tireless41
dedication to the public good, his leadership in both state and national government, and his42
ongoing commitment to improving the financial systems that support the country's economy.43
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body44
honor and applaud Senator Brandon Beach for his exceptional ser vice to the State of45
Georgia, his remarkable career in both the public and private s ectors, and his outstanding46
contributions to the nation's financial policy as well as congratulate him on his appointment47
as United States Treasurer in the Trump Administration.48
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed49
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Senator Brandon50
Beach.51
