A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Ascend Church on the occasion of its third anniversary; and1
for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, the seeds which were sown by the loving and humble eff orts of the devoted3
original worshipers of Ascend Church have blossomed, establishi ng a rich tradition and4
history; and5
WHEREAS, Ascend Church has grown under the divine direction of Pastor Brian Guerin,6
allowing the Word of God to spread throughout the community; and7
WHEREAS, the congregation of this church has compiled an unpara lleled record of8
constructive, compassionate, and humanitarian service which it demonstrates daily through9
open minds, open hearts, and open doors; and10
WHEREAS, the members of Ascend Church have a sincere desire to serve the Lord and are11
wholeheartedly committed to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ; and12

WHEREAS, the story of Ascend Church is one of triumph through the grace and sustaining13
power of God, and it stands as an immovable witness to the trut h that God keeps His14
promise; and15
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this enduring example of God's message16
of peace and love be recognized and congratulated for its innumerable good works rendered17
on behalf of persons in need.18
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body19
recognize the rich history of Ascend Church, commend its three years of dedicated service20
to the Lord and community, and extend their warmest best wishes for its continued growth21
and success.22
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed23
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Ascend Church.24
