A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Betsy Harris; and for other purposes.1
WHEREAS, Betsy Harris has served with extraordinary dedication, leadership, and2
distinction as the Chair of the Towns County GOP; and3
WHEREAS, during her tenure as Chair, Betsy has been a tireless advocate for the values,4
principles, and vision of the Republican Party, always striving to strengthen the political5
landscape in Towns County; and6
WHEREAS, Betsy's leadership has been instrumental in organizing successful events,7
expanding outreach efforts, and encouraging civic engagement wi thin the community,8
ensuring that the voice of Towns County Republicans was heard and respected; and9
WHEREAS, her work has inspired countless individuals to become more active in the10
political process, and her efforts have helped develop a stronger, more engaged community11
of voters and leaders; and12

WHEREAS, Betsy's character, integrity, and unwavering commitment to service have earned13
her the admiration and respect of all those who have had the privilege to work with her, and14
her contributions have left an indelible impact on the Towns County GOP; and15
WHEREAS, after many years of exemplary service, Betsy has made the well-deserved16
decision to retire from her role as Chair of the Towns County GOP, leaving behind a lasting17
legacy of dedication, leadership, and commitment to public service.18
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body19
recognize and commend Betsy Harris for her outstanding service, leadership, and20
contributions to the Republican Party, the Towns County communi ty, and the State of21
Georgia as well as wish her the very best as she embarks on thi s new chapter in her life,22
knowing that she has earned every opportunity to relax and enjo y the fruits of her labor,23
while always cherishing the memories of her many accomplishments.24
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed25
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Betsy Harris. 26
