A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Etesta Y Causey on Women Veterans Ap preciation Day at1
the Capitol; and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, Master Sergeant (Ret.) Etesta Y Causey served as a gua rdian of this nation's3
freedom and liberty with the United States Army Reserve, valian tly and courageously4
protecting her fellow Americans from 1992 to 2018; and5
WHEREAS, she displays entrepreneurial excellence as founder and emotions coach of New6
Normal Resiliency, as founder of the Catch22 Mental and Emotional Well Being Project, and7
as founder of Creativ CausE; and 8
WHEREAS, she is highly skilled in emotions coaching, personal d evelopment stratagies,9
community outreach and engagement, event planning, photography, HR policy10
implementation, problem solving, and leadership; and11
WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for12
integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and13

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstandi ng contributions of this14
exemplary veteran are appropriately honored.15
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body16
recognize and commend Etesta Y Causey for the dedication, bravery, and sacrifices she has17
made to serve her country and extend sincere best wishes for her continued health, happiness,18
and success. 19
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed20
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Etesta Y Causey.21
