A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Mr. Robert A. Banks, a distinguished and longtime resident
of Cherokee County, Georgia, for his many years of dedicated service to his community and
the State of Georgia; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Mr. Robert A. Banks has long been recognized by the citizens of Cherokee
County for the vital role he has played in leadership and his deep personal commitment to
the welfare of his fellow citizens; and
WHEREAS, a resident of Cherokee County for many decades, Mr. Banks has contributed
tirelessly to the civic, economic, and social growth of the community, earning the respect and
admiration of all who have had the pleasure of knowing him; and
WHEREAS, throughout his life, Mr. Banks has exemplified the highest standards of
citizenship, integrity, and service, giving freely of his time and talents to numerous
charitable, educational, and community organizations; and
WHEREAS, his devotion to family, friends, and faith stands as an example of the values and
principles that make Georgia's communities strong and resilient; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Banks has been a steadfast supporter of efforts to strengthen Cherokee
County's sense of community, always encouraging cooperation, goodwill, and civic pride
among its residents; and
WHEREAS, he has generously mentored and encouraged countless individuals over the
years, offering wisdom, guidance, and compassion to those seeking direction or support in
their personal and professional lives; and
WHEREAS, his legacy of service, integrity, and character has left an enduring impact on
Cherokee County, inspiring future generations to lead lives rooted in purpose, responsibility,
and devotion to others; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments and legacy of Mr.
Robert A. Banks be appropriately recognized and celebrated by this body.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body
recognize and commend Mr. Robert A. Banks for his many contributions to Cherokee
County and the State of Georgia as well as extend to him their most sincere best wishes for
continued health, happiness, and success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Mr. Robert A.
Banks.
