A RESOLUTION

Recognizing Eko Club Atlanta in celebration of 25 years of service; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, on March 27-29, 2026, Eko Club Atlanta (ECA) will celebrate 25 years of humanitarian, charitable, and community development efforts in both the state of Geogia and abroad; and

WHEREAS, Eko Club Atlanta is a nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status that has served communities in Georgia, other parts of the United States of America, Nigeria, Canada, and the United Kingdom for more than two decades through medical outreach, food security initiatives, educational support, and volunteer service; and

WHEREAS, for over 25 years Eko Club Atlanta has supported causes through organizations such as Decatur MLK Service project, Atlanta Food Bank, Hosea Feed The Hungry, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, among many other organizations in Georgia, including exporting medical outreach to Lagos, Nigeria, to help the most vulnerable members of the communities; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this remarkable organization be appropriately recognized for its outstanding contributions on behalf of the citizens of the state of Georgia.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body recognize and commend Eko Club Atlanta upon its 25th anniversary and extend best wishes for continued growth and success.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Eko Club Atlanta.
