A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Kaylynn "Amonii" Lovejoy; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Kaylynn "Amonii" Lovejoy is a Montgomery, Alabama, native and graduate
of Johnnie Carr Middle School, Booker T. Washington Magnet High School, and Alabama
State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in 2020; and
WHEREAS, born in London, England, she embraces her heritage as a true military brat, as
the daughter of retired First Sergeant James E. Lovejoy of the Untied States Army and retired
Sergeant Major Crystal M. Lovejoy of the United States Air Force; and
WHEREAS, a current resident of Atlanta, Georgia, Amonii works as a Veterinary
Technician at Leland Veterinary Clinic and is entering her fourth season as an NFL
cheerleader with the Atlanta Falcons, one of the league's most prestigious cheerleading
squads; and
WHEREAS, in partnership with her Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority sister, Ke'Yanna
Robinson-Ali, Amonii inspires the next generation of young performers through her dance
camps designed to empower girls five to 15 years of age; and
WHEREAS, Amonii brings pride to herself, her family, and her country as an Atlanta
Falcon's cheerleader and the daughter of Veterans.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body
recognize and commend Kaylynn "Amonii" Lovejoy for her outstanding accomplishments
and extend their sincere best wishes for her continued health, happiness, and success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Kaylynn "Amonii"
Lovejoy.
