Williams of the 25th and others
A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Dr. Ekaterina Mirzakulova; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Dr. Mirzakulova has been selected as the state recipient of the Technical
College System of Georgia's 2025 Rick Perkins Award for Excellence in Technical
Instruction; and
WHEREAS, with this award, Dr. Mirzakulova has earned the distinction of being the
Technical College System of Georgia's Instructor of the Year; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Mirzakulova, an instructor of Chemistry at Central Georgia Technical
College, has exemplified excellence in instructional knowledge and practice; and
WHEREAS, in recognition of her outstanding contributions, Dr. Mirzakulova was selected
from an elite group of Georgia technical college instructors who have demonstrated
innovative teaching practices and exceptional leadership skills at their respective technical
colleges; and
WHEREAS, through dedication and professionalism, Dr. Mirzakulova has brought honor to
herself, her family, Central Georgia Technical College, and the entire Technical College
System of Georgia.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body
commend and congratulate Dr. Ekaterina Mirzakulova for her outstanding achievements and
her efforts to promote technical education in Georgia.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Dr. Ekaterina
Mirzakulova.
