17th, Jones II of the 22nd and others
A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Brianne Drake; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, as 2026 President, Brianne Drake has made history as the first Black president
of the Georgia Association of REALTORS®, which stands as a testament to her dedication
to career excellence; and
WHEREAS, Brianne Drake has a long and consistent record of service to the community and
this state and has been recognized as one of the most dynamic and committed associate
brokers in Georgia; and
WHEREAS, a highly distinguished industry professional, she has earned numerous awards
and honors for her work, including being named REALTOR® of the Year in both 2011 and
2018 by the Metro South Association of REALTORS®, receiving the J.L. Christian
Leadership Award in 2009 and 2011, and the President’s Award in 2012; and
WHEREAS, throughout her distinguished career, Brianne has held numerous national
leadership positions dedicated to advancing the real estate industry and the clients it serves;
and
WHEREAS, she has served as Chair of the Professional Standards Interpretations and
Procedures Advisory Board and Chair of the Professional Standards Committee for the
National Association of REALTORS® and currently serves as a Director for the
organization; and
WHEREAS, she further serves the organization as part of several committees and boards
while maintaining an outstanding standard of service for her clients, earning recognition in
the Atlanta Business Chronicle and RISMedia’s Real Estate Magazine; and
WHEREAS, Brianne has held numerous state REALTOR® Association leadership positions
dedicated to advancing the real estate industry including serving as Chair of the Georgia
REALTOR® Party Action Committee Fundraising Council in 2023; and
WHEREAS, her ongoing support for the real estate industry and protection of the public
interest is clearly shown through her support of statewide advocacy effort; and
WHEREAS, this remarkable corporate citizen has established a glowing reputation of
renown throughout Georgia for her dedication and high ideals; and
WHEREAS, Brianne has been dedicated to providing unparalleled service and support and
remains steadfastly committed to the principles of skill, integrity, and responsibility; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this
extraordinary professional be appropriately recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body
recognize and commend Brianne Drake for her many remarkable contributions to the
Georgia Association of REALTORS® and extend best wishes for continued success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Brianne Drake.
