A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Logan Crosby for his professional achievements and contributions to the State of Georgia and the arts; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Logan Crosby was born in Macon, Georgia, and raised in Milledgeville, Georgia; and
WHEREAS, Logan Crosby is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where he earned a degree in political science; and
WHEREAS, during his collegiate career, Logan Crosby gained hands-on experience in public service, working with Senator Ricky Williams, Representative Houston Gaines, and the administration of Governor Brian Kemp, building a foundation in government operations, constituent services, and campaign work; and
WHEREAS, in addition to his public service experience, Logan Crosby also worked with Williams Funeral Home under Senator Ricky Williams, further strengthening his connection to community service and local leadership; and
WHEREAS, in 2022, Logan Crosby competed on the inaugural season of ABC's Claim to Fame, where he earned second place and gained national recognition; and
WHEREAS, following his television appearance, Logan Crosby relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue a full-time career in music; and
WHEREAS, Logan Crosby is now an independent recording artist whose music blends pop, rock, soul, and country influences, and he has toured extensively across the United States; and
WHEREAS, he has released multiple original projects and is currently on his third headlining tour, continuing to expand his audience through authentic songwriting and live performances; and
WHEREAS, Logan Crosby's unique journey from public service to the arts reflects the diverse talents fostered in Georgia and serves as an inspiration to young professionals pursuing both civic engagement and creative endeavors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body recognize and commend Logan Crosby for his accomplishments in public service and music, and congratulate him on his continued success as a recording artist. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Logan Crosby.
