A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending John Hope Bryant on Next Gen Youth Entrepreneurship Day; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, John Hope Bryant is an American entrepreneur, prominent thought leader, author, philanthropist, and a global authority on financial literacy, economic empowerment, and inclusive capitalism; and
WHEREAS, he is the founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Operation HOPE, Inc., the nation's largest nonprofit provider of financial literacy services for youth and adults, as well as the founder of John Hope Bryant Holdings, Bryant Group Ventures, and Bryant Group Advisors; and
WHEREAS, John Hope Bryant has amassed over 3 million followers across social media platforms, as well as is a CNBC Contributor, host of the iHeart Radio podcast "Money & Wealth with John Hope Bryant", and a member of both the CNBC Global Financial Wellness Council and the CNBC CEO Council; and
WHEREAS, his impact has been recognized with numerous prestigious awards, including Oprah Winfrey's Use Your Life Award, American Banker's Innovator of the Year, and inclusion in TIME's 50 Leaders for the Future; and
WHEREAS, in recognition of his dedication to transforming economic systems for underserved communities and ensuring inclusive growth in the AI-driven future, he was named on the Forbes BLK50 List in December 2024 and TIME Magazine's inaugural The Closers List; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper to honor this remarkable and distiguished gentleman.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body recognize and commend John Hope Bryant and extend their sincere best wishes for his continued health, happiness, and success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to John Hope Bryant.
