By: Senators Davenport of the 17th, Jones of the 10th, James of the 28th, Mangham of the
55th, Anderson of the 43rd and others
A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Dimetrice Latimore, the Department of Community
Supervision's 2025 Employee of the Year; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, founded on the tenets of public safety and progress, the Georgia Department
of Community Supervision commenced operations on July 1, 2015, through the passage of
House Bill 310; and
WHEREAS, Dimetrice Latimore has honorably served the State of Georgia for 25 years and
has shown herself to be an outstanding embodiment of the department’s core values of
selfless service, accountability, integrity, teamwork, and professional development; and
WHEREAS, Dimetrice routinely goes above and beyond to provide efficient, effective,
selfless, and dedicated service to her coworkers and the State of Georgia; and
WHEREAS, Dimetrice is the consummate professional and a person upon whom many of
her colleagues rely for her knowledge and expertise; and
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this
remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body
recognize and commend Dimetrice Latimore on being named the Department of Community
Supervision’s 2025 Employee of the Year.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Dimetrice
Latimore.
