A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending the Resurgens Roswell Surgery Center on the grand occasion of its 25th anniversary; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, the Resurgens Roswell Surgery Center was established 25 years ago with a steadfast commitment to providing high-quality, specialized orthopedic care to the citizens of Georgia; and

WHEREAS, since its inception, the center has demonstrated an unparalleled dedication to patient health, successfully serving a remarkable 116,891 patients; and

WHEREAS, the center has maintained an exceptional standard of clinical excellence, as evidenced by a consistently high patient satisfaction rating over its two and a half decades of operation; and

WHEREAS, the stability and longevity of the center's leadership are exemplified by the service of only two Administrators throughout its history, supported by a committed medical staff averaging locally-based 29 physician partners; and

WHEREAS, Resurgens Roswell has remained at the forefront of surgical innovation, introducing Total Joint Replacement procedures in 2015, thereby expanding access to critical orthopedic interventions in an outpatient setting; and

WHEREAS, as an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), it provides a cost-effective alternative to traditional hospital care, significantly reducing the financial burden on Georgia citizens while increasing healthcare accessibility; and

WHEREAS, the center's impact is further defined by its profound corporate citizenship, having provided $8,170,715.83 in free indigent and hardship care to support the most vulnerable members of our community; and

WHEREAS, this success is a testament to the hard work of the 217 individuals who have served on staff over the years, including the 47 current employees who continue this legacy of care today.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body recognize the 25th Anniversary of the Resurgens Roswell Surgery Center and commend its leadership, physicians, and staff for their contributions to the health and well-being of the people of Georgia.
