A Senate resolution congratulates Rhea Brashear, an instructor at Southern Regional Technical College, for being named the Technical College System of Georgia's 2024 Adult Education Teacher of the Year.

### Plain-language summary

This is a ceremonial resolution from the Georgia Senate, not a change to state law. It recognizes Rhea Brashear, who teaches in the adult education program at Southern Regional Technical College, for being named the Technical College System of Georgia's 2024 Adult Education Teacher of the Year.
The resolution states that Brashear was chosen from a group of technical college adult education instructors across Georgia recognized for innovative teaching and leadership. The Senate formally congratulates her and directs the Secretary of the Senate to prepare a copy of the resolution for her.
