## Summaries written by Georgia Commons

The following was written by claude-sonnet-5 from the text above and is not part of the resolution. Quote the text, not the summary.

A Georgia Senate resolution honors The Faith Center, a Tucker-area church, on the opening of its new facility and commends its pastors and congregation.

### Plain-language summary

This is a ceremonial resolution from the Georgia Senate, not a change to state law. It recognizes The Faith Center, a church in the Tucker community near metro Atlanta, for its worship, outreach, education, and community service, and celebrates the opening and dedication of its new church facility.
The resolution names Senior Pastor Vincent Campbell and First Lady Felicia Campbell as the church's leaders and praises their guidance of the congregation's growth. It directs the Secretary of the Senate to prepare a copy of the resolution for distribution to The Faith Center. The resolution has no regulatory effect and does not create, amend, or repeal any Georgia statute.

### What it does

- Formally recognizes and commends The Faith Center for its worship, outreach, education, and community partnerships in the Tucker area.
- Congratulates the church on the grand opening and dedication of its new facility and wishes it continued success.
- Names Senior Pastor Vincent Campbell and First Lady Felicia Campbell for their leadership of the congregation.
- Directs the Secretary of the Senate to prepare and distribute a copy of the resolution to The Faith Center.

### Who it affects

The resolution directly names The Faith Center, its Senior Pastor Vincent Campbell, First Lady Felicia Campbell, and the church's congregation in the Tucker community. It also involves the Secretary of the Senate, who must produce a copy for distribution.

### Why it matters

The resolution carries symbolic rather than legal weight. It gives The Faith Center and its leaders a formal, on-the-record acknowledgment from the Georgia Senate, which can be used for community recognition, but it does not change any law or provide funding.

### Key provisions

- The whereas clauses describe The Faith Center's community role in Tucker and metro Atlanta and identify its leadership.
- The resolving clause has the Senate formally recognize and commend the church for its new facility's grand opening and dedication.
- A further resolution directs the Secretary of the Senate to make a copy available for distribution to The Faith Center.
