A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Anna Roach; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Anna Roach has faithfully served as Executive Director of the Atlanta Regional
Commission, demonstrating exceptional professionalism, integrity, and dedication to public
service; and
WHEREAS, the Atlanta Regional Commission serves as the official regional planning and
intergovernmental coordination agency for the 11-county metropolitan Atlanta region,
providing leadership in transportation planning, community development, aging and health
services, and regional cooperation; and
WHEREAS, under Anna Roach's leadership, the Atlanta Regional Commission has
strengthened collaboration among cities, counties, state agencies, nonprofit organizations,
and private-sector partners to address the region's most pressing challenges; and
WHEREAS, she has played a vital role in advancing comprehensive regional plans that
promote smart growth, mobility, housing affordability, workforce development,
environmental sustainability, and economic competitiveness; and
WHEREAS, her commitment to data-driven decision-making and evidence-based policy has
improved transparency, accountability, and long-term planning throughout the metropolitan
Atlanta region; and
WHEREAS, Anna Roach has championed inclusive public engagement and equitable

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body
recognize and commend Anna Roach and extend sincere best wishes for continued success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Anna Roach.
