## Summaries written by Georgia Commons

The following was written by claude-sonnet-5 from the text above and is not part of the resolution. Quote the text, not the summary.

A Georgia House resolution formally commends Jennifer Blakey, a longtime elementary school teacher in DeKalb and Cherokee counties, upon her retirement after more than 36 years of service.

### Plain-language summary

This resolution from the Georgia House of Representatives honors Jennifer Blakey, a teacher who spent more than 36 years working with elementary school students in DeKalb and Cherokee counties. It recounts her career, including being named Teacher of the Year twice, and praises her dedication to education and her community.
The resolution does not change any law. It simply states that the House recognizes and commends Blakey for her career and congratulates her on her retirement. It also directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to prepare a copy of the resolution for distribution to Blakey herself.

### What it does
