A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending the Broad Street Concert Band of Sugar Hill; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS, the Broad Street Concert Band of Sugar Hill has become a treasured cultural
asset within the City of Sugar Hill and throughout Gwinnett County, enriching the lives of
residents through musical excellence, community engagement, and a steadfast commitment
to the performing arts; and
WHEREAS, the band is composed of dedicated volunteer musicians of diverse ages,
backgrounds, and professions who unite around a shared passion for music and service,
demonstrating the power of the arts to build community and foster connection; and
WHEREAS, through concerts, civic performances, seasonal celebrations, and partnerships
with local organizations and the City of Sugar Hill, the Broad Street Concert Band has
provided countless opportunities for families, students, and seniors to experience high quality
live music close to home; and
WHEREAS, the band's presence has strengthened Sugar Hill's identity as a vibrant, creative,
and culturally rich city, complementing the community's investment in the arts and

WHEREAS, the Broad Street Concert Band has served as an ambassador for Sugar Hill,

WHEREAS, strong communities are built not only through infrastructure and commerce but

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize and commend the Broad Street Concert Band of Sugar

its continued success and growth.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the
Broad Street Concert Band of Sugar Hill.
