By: Representatives Reeves of the 99th, Hong of the 103rd, Clark of the 100th, Martinez of the
111th, and Donatucci of the 105th
A RESOLUTION
Recognizing September 2026 as World OKTA Global Startup Month; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS, World OKTA has faithfully contributed to the advancement of global
commerce, entrepreneurship, economic cooperation, and the strengthening of international
business networks among Korean entrepreneurs around the world; and
WHEREAS, the organization has encouraged innovation and startup development by
supporting emerging entrepreneurs, small businesses, and next-generation leaders through
mentorship, investment opportunities, education, and international collaboration; and
WHEREAS, the celebration of "World OKTA Global Startup Month" recognizes the
significant economic, cultural, and community contributions made by Korean-owned
businesses and startup leaders throughout the global marketplace; and
WHEREAS, fostering entrepreneurship and startup innovation creates opportunities for
economic growth, job creation, cross-cultural partnership, and future leadership development
within local and international communities; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to honor the dedication, vision, and accomplishments of
World OKTA members and startup entrepreneurs who continue to build bridges of
cooperation and prosperity across nations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that
the members of this body recognize September 2026 as World OKTA Global Startup Month
in honor of the positive impact of the entrepreneurship, innovation, and global partnership
fostered through the efforts of World OKTA.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to the
public and the press.
