26 LC 129 0510 Senate Resolution 571 By: Senators Dickerson of the 21st, Kirkpatrick of the 32nd and Albers of the 56th A RESOLUTION Recognizing and commending Mr. Robert A. Banks, a distinguished and longtime resident1 of Cherokee County, Georgia, for his many years of dedicated service to his community and2 the State of Georgia; and for other purposes.3 WHEREAS, Mr. Robert A. Banks has long been recognized by the ci tizens of Cherokee4 County for the vital role he has played in leadership and his deep personal commitment to5 the welfare of his fellow citizens; and6 WHEREAS, a resident of Cherokee County for many decades, Mr. Ba nks has contributed7 tirelessly to the civic, economic, and social growth of the community, earning the respect and8 admiration of all who have had the pleasure of knowing him; and9 WHEREAS, throughout his life, Mr. Banks has exemplified the hig hest standards of10 citizenship, integrity, and service, giving freely of his time and talents to numerous11 charitable, educational, and community organizations; and12 WHEREAS, his devotion to family, friends, and faith stands as an example of the values and13 principles that make Georgia's communities strong and resilient; and14 S. R. 571 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0510 WHEREAS, Mr. Banks has been a steadfast supporter of efforts to strengthen Cherokee15 County's sense of community, always encouraging cooperation, go odwill, and civic pride16 among its residents; and17 WHEREAS, he has generously mentored and encouraged countless in dividuals over the18 years, offering wisdom, guidance, and compassion to those seeking direction or support in19 their personal and professional lives; and20 WHEREAS, his legacy of service, integrity, and character has le ft an enduring impact on21 Cherokee County, inspiring future generations to lead lives rooted in purpose, responsibility,22 and devotion to others; and23 WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments and legacy of Mr.24 Robert A. Banks be appropriately recognized and celebrated by this body.25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body26 recognize and commend Mr. Robert A. Banks for his many contribu tions to Cherokee27 County and the State of Georgia as well as extend to him their most sincere best wishes for28 continued health, happiness, and success.29 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed30 to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for di stribution to Mr. Robert A.31 Banks.32 S.
