A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending the executive director, staff, and m embers of the Golden1
Triangle Resource Conservation and Development Council; and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, the Golden Triangle Resource Conservation and Development Council (RC&D)3
has long served as a vital driver of community development, natural resource stewardship,4
and economic growth within the southwest region of Georgia; and5
WHEREAS, Rhonda Gordon, executive director of the Golden Triang le RC&D has6
demonstrated exemplary leadership, commitment, and vision in ad vancing the council's7
mission to improve the quality of life for citizens through con servation, education, and8
community-focused initiatives; and9
WHEREAS, under Rhonda Gordon's guidance, the Golden Triangle RC&D has successfully10
expanded programs that support agricultural sustainability, rur al infrastructure,11
environmental conservation, workforce development, and small-business growth; and12
WHEREAS, the Golden Triangle RC&D staff have fostered strong partnerships among local13
governments, state and federal agencies, nonprofit organizations, private stakeholders, and14

community leaders, ensuring the continued advancement of region al priorities and the15
effective stewardship of public resources; and16
WHEREAS, the dedication, professionalism, and tireless service of the Golden Triangle17
RC&D organization has strengthened the southwest Georgia region and contributed18
meaningfully to its economic vitality and long-term resilience; and19
WHEREAS, it is fitting to recognize the outstanding individuals and organizations whose20
work has left a lasting, positive impact on the citizens and communities they serve.21
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that22
the members of this body commend and express their profound app reciation to Rhonda23
Gordon, staff, and members of the Golden Triangle RC&D for dist inguished service,24
visionary leadership, and unwavering commitment to improving the region as well as extend25
best wishes for continued success in all future endeavors.26
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized27
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the28
Golden Triangle Resource Conservation and Development Council.29
