26 LC 129 0625 House Resolution 1024 By: Representative Jones of the 60th A RESOLUTION Honoring the life and memory of Gladys Nunnally; and for other purposes.1 WHEREAS, the State of Georgia mourns the loss of one of its most distinguished citizens2 with the passing of Gladys Nunnally; and3 WHEREAS, she gave inspiration to many through her high ideals, morals, and deep concern4 for her fellow citizens, and the devotion, patience, and unders tanding she demonstrated to5 her family and friends were admired by others; and6 WHEREAS, she was a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation7 for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness, and by the example she made of her life,8 she made this world a better place in which to live; and9 WHEREAS, a compassionate and generous woman, Gladys Nunnally wi ll long be10 remembered for her love of family, friendship, and community and will be missed by all who11 had the great fortune of knowing her.12 H. R. 1024 - 1 - 26 LC 129 0625 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that13 the members of this body join in honoring the life and memory o f Gladys Nunnally and14 express their deepest and most sincere regret at her passing.15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized16 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the17 family of Gladys Nunnally.18 H.
