A RESOLUTION
Recognizing HealthMPowers for 25 years of service and leadershi p in advancing youth1
health; and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, HealthMPowers has served the State of Georgia for twen ty-five years,3
championing access to health and nutrition for children and families; and4
WHEREAS, the organization has demonstrated unwavering commitment to improving health5
outcomes through evidence-based programs, school partnerships, and community6
engagement in nearly every school district across Georgia; and7
WHEREAS, HealthMPowers has prioritized the voices of young peop le, recognizing that8
youth leadership is essential to shaping sustainable solutions for a healthier future; and9
WHEREAS, through initiatives such as youth advisory boards, adv ocacy training, and10
leadership development, HealthMPowers empowers young people to become catalysts for11
change in their schools and communities; and12

WHEREAS, HealthMPowers has remained steadfast in its mission, a dapting to evolving13
needs and continuing to create value and impact across Georgia while upholding the vision14
of founders Andy Isakson, brother of the late Senator Johnny Is akson, and Mary Johnson. 15
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that16
the members of this body commend HealthMPowers for 25 years of service, innovation, and17
leadership in advancing health equity and fostering youth leade rship, and recognize the18
organization's future-forward vision to build the leadership ca pacity of young people as a19
cornerstone of a healthier Georgia for generations to come.20
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized21
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution ava ilable for distribution to22
HealthMPowers.23
